As a Chicago native, I have become accustomed to seeing the true beauty of my surroundings, including the skyscrapers, the tourists, the night skies over Lake Michigan. All these things are even more gratifying when experienced with the people we love. I have been blessed with the opportunity to enjoy the city and beyond with my son, Aiden. He is my drive and purpose to do so much in so little time. We enjoy things like traveling, playing volleyball, and shopping. Aiden, as well as the rest of my family, has a huge significance in my life as they are the ones who will carry on my name when I am no longer here.
In 2015, a devastating year for my family, the unthinkable happened. Both my aunt and uncle passed away on the same day. While grieving the sudden loss of two loved ones, we stressed about paying funeral expenses and the financial needs. We created and shared a GoFundMe with friends and family. This tremendous loss is what led me into the business of helping others secure funds for the unexpected. There is a sense of peace knowing that your family will be able to properly grieve and celebrate your life without having to be distracted with the financial aspect of losing you.
Many of us seem to overlook the imperative decision of securing life insurance. We move through the ups and downs of life, without realizing what a tragedy it is to ignore the unavoidable, until it is too late. More than ever, I now understand the importance of life insurance and I have made sure that my son, family, and friends have life insurance. It is my goal to inform and educate others about the absolute importance of life insurance for each and every person. One day CAN make a difference.
